Hello Guys, Today, I want to tell you about my trip to Chattbir zoo. It was very fun. I am basically from Ludhiana, but I relocate to Chandigarh last year due to a job. On weekends, I especially like to travel to Chandigarh to explore new things. There are a lot of places to visit in Chandigarh like Elante mall, Rock Garden, Chandigarh bird park, Sukhna lake as well as Rose Garden. One of my friends mentions me going to Chattbir zoo park which is in Zirakpur city. So one day, I decided to go to the Chhatbir zoo park with my mother in November last year because it is one of the best seasons to go to the park. After hearing this, I want to explore Zoo named Mahindra Chaudhary zoological park.

The Chhattbir zoo park is located in Zirakpur (city of Punjab) near Chandigarh. It is also called Zirakpur zoo & it has also Chhatbir zoo dinosaur park in it. Thus, It is the largest zoological park in North India. Therefore, there are food parks available in this park to eat tasty and healthy items. Thus, the Chhatbir zoo area in km is spread over 200 acres of area. Moreover, this zoo in Chandigarh has a variety of 400 birds, 20 reptiles, and 369 animals. The Bengal tiger is the main mammal in this park. The park was established in the year 1970 but it was opened to the public in the year 1977. We go there at our convenience from Chandigarh and reached there within half an hour. We parked our car in the parking zone with parking tickets. Outside the Zoo, we saw the Chhattbir zoo timings & tickets. Chhatbir zoo timings are from Tuesday to Sunday: 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM. It is mainly closed on public holidays like Independence Day and Republic day. On Monday it is also closed. Thank God, we are not coming here on any public holiday or even on Monday.

Thus, the Chhatbir zoo ticket price was affordable for everyone.
After that, we saw a lot of mammals like elephants, Hippopotamus, Asiatic lions, Indian leopards, Black bears, and many more. Everyone was clicking the pictures of them. There was also a dinosaur park for kids.
We were so happy to see the park. At last, we enjoyed the park most. Thus, It was a very good trip for us. On the whole, We always remember that trip. I really recommend others to visit this zoological park at least once. Hence, I hope you will enjoy travelling to this zoo.
